 | Why should I have my car hand washed?
- Hand washing is the best way to properly and safely remove the dirt from a vehicle. Incorrect methods of washing a vehicle will produce swirl marks in the vehicle's clear coat. Swirl marks can be removed, but requires many complex processes to properly REMOVE the clear coat imperfections. The key to washing a vehicle is to remove the dirt without affecting your vehicle's clear coat in anyway!

| How often should I have my vehicle washed?
- To properly maintian a clean car, you should have it washed once a week or atleast every other week.

Is a Hand Wash better than taking my vehicle to a Car Wash?
- YES!!! Car Washes are great for what they are, but if you truly want to remove the dirt and not just spray pressurized water at it, you must handwash your vehicle. Simply spraying your vehicle with a pressure washer will not remove the dirt. When you proceed to dry your vehicle, the dirt that hasn't be removed will be rubbed into your vehicle's clear coat producing ugly swirls. If you don't dry your vehicle, you will be left with water spots and the dirt that you didn't remove.

| My new vehicle said "Never Wax Again"?
- Waxing a vehicle provideds a layer of protection from UV rays. Even the "Never Wax Again" coating that is applied should be conditioned periodically. Waxing the "Never Wax Again Coating" will not harm it in anyway, but will provide a layer of added protection and a deeper shine. All vehicles should be waxed at least twice a year.... look at your owner's manual!

- YES!!! First off, Luxor Auto Detail is fully insured. We are fully covered when detailing, transporting, and storing your vehicle. We give every vehicle the proper care and attention it deserves. Our facility is also very secure and is under 24/7 video surveillance.

- Yes, We have all necessary licenses and permits required to operate, as well as General Liability and Garage Keepers Insurance! You are safe with us... guaranteed!

| Will Luxor Auto Detail come to you?
- Yes, we provide mobile services weather permitting. At this time, the washing/detailing location must have a water and electric hookup. If services are being performed at a business location, proper authorization is required before detailing services can be performed. If you still have questions, feel free to contact us!

| What are the differences in the different waxing systems?
- Properly waxing a vehicle is a complex process. Different waxing applications will produce different end results. Generally speaking, you have liquid 1-step systems, paste waxes, liquid waxes, and a 3-Step clay bar process. First off, the Clay Bar process is the best waxing system. It is the only way to properly extract all of the dirt and other impurities that are embedded in your vehicle's clear coat. This process is then followed by a "Paint Cleanser" and in most applications, finished with a good Liquid or Paste Caranuba Wax. The quality of the finishing wax is what will produce deeper, richer paint colors and will provide longer lasting protection. Paste Waxes are better then Liquid Waxes. On the other hand, you have the liquid 1-step systems. These systems try to pack all of the processes stated above into one appplication. They produce decent results, but cannot compare to the Clay Bar Systems!

| How often should I wax my vehicle?
- Depending on the system you choose, this answer will change. A full Clay Bar process should be completed at least twice a year. (i.e. before/after Winter, before/after Spring) The liquid 1-step systems should be applied about ever 3-4 months. In between waxes, to maintain shine and protection, quick spray waxes can be applied to maintain a "Just Waxed" look. If your vehicle is constantly exposed to the elements and sun, it is smart to have it waxed more frequently.

- NO! We will wash/detail just about anything. Cars, trucks, SUVs, Boats, Motorcycles, Outboard Engines, ATVs, RVs, and much more! If it isn't listed, just Contact Us!

| My vehicle is a lease, why should I have it detailed?
- When you return a leased vehicle, it is inspected for wear and tear. If the vehicle shows signs of excessive wear, additional charges may be be added. Also if you return a
dirty vehicle you may have to pay the leasor to clean it... which will probally be ALOT more then our rates.

- We are located directly off Jonestown Rd. (rt.22) in Harrisburg, PA. Our facitliy is located in the same building as "Beer Express" which sits directly behind "Pep Boys". When you enter the "Beer Express" parking lot continue around to the back of the lot and turn right. We are the middle warehouse bay! Other landmarks that are relatively close to our facility are: Gander Moutain, Best Buy, Pizza Hut, K-Mart and M&T Bank.

Does Luxor Auto Detail accept Drive-In appointments?
- YES!!! We allow drive-in appointments, but only can provide a limited list of services. Drive-in appointments are limited to Hand Washes, Interior Cleanings, Quick Shines, Window Cleanings, and Wheel and Tire Services. It is strongly recommended that you call before arrival!

I am interested in a service that takes several hours, and only have one vehicle?
- Luxor Auto Detail has a cozy waiting area w/ coffee, TV, wifi, and snacks. However, if your service is going to take all day or if you are unable to wait until your service is completed, we can help. If you drop your vehicle off at our garage we will provide one way of transportation to the destination of your choice. Luxor Auto Detail also offers a pick-up and delivery service for a small additional fee. We are here to help!
